Lupe Fiasco Fires Back At Donald Glover Over “Diss”

Published

Lupe Fiasco is responding to Childish Gambino’s revealing radio interview with the Breakfast Club this week. During the interview, Gambino revealed the origins of his friendly Twitter beef with the Lupe, claiming he invited the Chicago emcee to do a song with him over the summer but was shot down.

Gambino, better known as actor Donald Glover, says Lupe responded to his invitation by saying, “I don’t work with Black people. I only work with n*ggas.” Glover tells the Breakfast Club, “I got what he was saying, but it was a sneak diss.” And it was that sneak diss that led Gambino to threaten to slap Lupe earlier this year if he saw him.

“Lupe Fiasco a h** a** n*gga, and when I see him, I’ma smack him like da lil b*tch he is,” the Community actor tweeted.

Lupe took to Twitter this morning to respond to Glover’s radio interview, writing:

“I don’t sneak diss … I diss … To say a n*gga sneak diss is kinda like a sneak diss … cut it out.”

And not to be out done, Lupe threw in one last jab at Gambino. “Oh and I watch more anime than you.”

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
