We all know Drake can be a little sensitive, but it appears someone didn’t pass that memo along to Future. The rapper was reportedly kicked off Drake’s upcoming “Would You Like A Tour” tour after being critical of the Canadian singer’s latest album, Nothing was the Same.
“Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do. I want to make you want to fall in love,” Future said in a recent interview with Billboard.
After learning of the quote, Drake booted Future off his tour. “He told his agent either Future gets fired, or he’ll fire him,” a source reveals to Page Six. Future tried to smooth things over by tweeting the following message earlier month, but the damaged had already been done.
“Respect to Billboard, disappointed on being misquoted … always love for my fam Drizzy Drake.”
Future is now reportedly planning on suing Drake over lost wages, for close to $1.5 million.
