Exclusive: Ja Rule Addresses Rumors Of Infidelity, Says He’s A Target For Thirsty Women

During the height of Ja Rule’s career, rumors ran rampant that the rapper was unfaithful to his wife, Aisha Murray. And although the rapper never denied the rumors of infidelity, the couple still maintained a strong marriage until this very day.

During a sit down interview with Ja to talk about his new film, “I’m In Love With a Church Girl,” the rapper revealed to HipHollywood that he is in a good place right now with his wife.

“Me and my wife … she’s sitting right here, she’s a strong black woman,” as he points to his wife of twelve years. “I think we as a married couple go through what any other married couple goes through, it’s just magnified that much more because everything I do is in the media or inspired by it,” he said.

“I’m a target for fallacious women that want to not see me and my wife happy. So they’ll make up stories and do whatever they have to do to sell books, or be on TV shows … They’ll take a small situation and make it something that’s so much bigger than what it is,” the rapper explained.

“It could be a simple picture and they blow that up into we are sleeping together. I think a lot of stuff gets blown out of proportion and me and my wife, we deal with it accordingly. She knows me, she knows my heart, she knows I love her. We go through things like any other married couple but I think at the end of the day, our love and our bond is stronger than any rumors of infidelity.”

Ja was released from prison in May after serving two years for gun possession and failure to pay taxes. Since Ja’s release, the rapper has dropped a number of songs, including “Fresh Out Da Pen.”

The 37-year-old’s film “I’m In Love With a Church Girl” hits theaters on Friday, October 18.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
