Inside Diddy’s Swanky ‘Boardwalk Empire’ Soiree

When Diddy throws a party, there’s no shortage of famous faces on the guest list.

On Friday night, the mogul threw a swanky roaring 20’s party to kick off Boardwalk Empire’s 4th Season. HipHollywood mingled with the cast on the red carpet to talk about what fans can expect on this season of the hit HBO show.

“Last year I think I ended with a bang. I think this year it’s going to begin with a bang and it’s going to snowball from there. It gets better and better as the season goes on. I think they’ll enjoy it,” Erik LaRay Harvey explained.

“Normally Chalky has always been focused, on point. And we see him get sloppy this year. He makes some bad choices, bad choices, bad decisions, over a woman,” Michael K. Williams said about his character.

The night’s attendees arrived to the soiree in their 1920’s finest, from flappers, bobbed hair, to tight trousers.

“I never really had to do something like this before. It’s very cool, and exciting. I was like ‘ok’ I’m going to be dressing like I’m in the 20’s, how do I go about this,” Keke palmer shared.

Palmer rocked a grey beaded dress and her hair styled to perfection, appropriate for the evening’s theme. “The whole glam squad had a bug pow wow and this is what we came up with,” she added.

Boardwalk Empire premieres this Sunday night, on HBO.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
