Published

on

This year is all about Eve’s comeback! The pitbull in a skirt released her first album in 11 years, Lip Lock, and now she’s getting back to the big screen.

In the new film Bounty Killer, Eve plays Mocha Sujata, “she’s like the queen of the gypsies, she’s like savage”, Eve told HipHollywood. In the action flick, “bounty killers compete for body count, fame and a fat stack of cash. They’re ending the plague of corporate greed and providing the survivors of the apocalypse with retribution.”

Not only is Eve kicking butt in her new film, but she may be returning to the small screen as well. And although she’s eager to return to TV, she said don’t expect a reboot of her old show, Eve. I think that show for me was such a big moment and time, and so many people liked that show I wouldn’t want to try to recreate it”, stated the rapper.

Would you like to see Eve back on TV? Let us know below! In the meantime, check Eve out in Bounty Killer out now.

Idris Elba Thinks The Future Of The James Bond Franchise Is Female!

Published

Idris Elba doesn’t want to play James Bond, but  is down to make some changes to the James Bond film franchise.

Despite being fan cast as the next 007 by just about every person on the Internet with a Twitter handle, Elba has remained consistently distant from the world’s request. However, he does have a few ideas on who the next super secret spy could be … and it isn’t a guy.

“Are we interested in having a Bond character other than being a male?” Elba asked while at the Variety Studio presented by AT&T at the Sundance Film Festival. “Could be a woman, could be a black woman, could be a white woman, but I think, that character, everybody would like to see it have — do something different with it, why not?”

Elba was on the panel speaking about his directorial debut, “Yardie,” but paused to reflect on the future of the British Secret Service.

Potential women Bonds however will have some time to prepare for the audition process, as Daniel Craig still has one more sequel to make for the storied franchise, marking the 25th installment and expected out in 2019.

For the record Craig thinks Elba would make a great Bond. We’ll have to see how he feels about a female replacement next time we catch up with him.
