A man hired to protect celebrities is now dead after being subdued by police during a brawl. 43-year-old Norman Oosterbroek worked as a bodyguard for Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Kanye West and Drake before dying late Monday night.

According to the death investigation report, obtained by HipHollywood, cops received a call from a Florida home around 10:45 p.m. with reports of a naked intruder terrorizing the home owners. That intruder was reportedly Norman Oosterbroek, who once protected Nelson Mandela before launching his own celebrity bodyguard agency.

A verbal confrontation took place which escalated to a physical confrontation. During the melee, Oosterbroek was “observed ingesting an unknown substance,” and that’s when police were called.

When officers arrived, they found one of the home owners and Oosterbroek fighting. When officers tried to breakup the fight, the security guru allegedly resisted, leading cops to use a Taser, which led to his death.

“It’s possible that he may have been under some type of a narcotics. Again, he was observed swallowing, ingesting some kind of substance, unknown substance that is,” Miami-Dade Police spokesman Det. Javier Baez said of Oosterbroek.

Police say they’re awaiting an autopsy report to determine the man’s exact cause of death.

    Say No To Drugs!
Jay and Gaga should be more careful about who they hire to protect them. Nude drug addicts don’t make good bodyguards.

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
