Chris Brown: Why Does Jay-Z Get A Pass And I Don’t?

It’s no secret that before joining the illuminati and texting emoticons to Barack Obama (just joking), Jay Z was a big pimpin’ drug dealer moving units of pure white up and down I-95. It’s that history, one Jay brags about in his lyrics, that has Chris Brown puzzled.

That’s because the r&b singer is still criticized and questioned by the press for bashing Rihanna’s face in back in 2009. “No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass,” Brown says in an interview with Jet magazine.

Brown continued trying to explain why he’s over the entire media circus that has encompassed his life. “I try to grasp the concept of being a normal guy sometimes. But when you start singing professionally at 14, 15 … I look back at it and I’m only 24, but I’m starting to feel old. I’m not trying to be younger or older. I’m just trying to be my age and move with the time.”

Check out the upcoming issue of Jet on newsstands September 23rd for more with Chris Brown.

I like and support Chris Brown but he has got to look at himself and ask these ???? It’s always 1 incident after another Frank Ocean, alleged hit and run incident, NY bottle throwing incident, girl allegedly gets pushed down in club incident, etc. His name is always linked to some negativity…. Chris needs to re-examine himself…

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
