Brooklynites Want Street Named After Notorious B.I.G.

By  |

An effort is underway in New York’s most populated borough to rename a street after Notorious B.I.G. LeRoy McCarthy, a Brooklyn resident, is using an online petition to help acquire enough signatures to make his vision a reality.

“Christopher Wallace … is a native of Brooklyn, NY, and his success through his artistic and creative lyrical wordsmith in music has influenced people around the world. This is a petition to honor Christopher Wallace with the co-naming of the corner of this childhood home at St James Place and Fulton Street in Brooklyn, NY to Christopher Wallace Way.”

We can’t say we hate the idea, so “Spread Love It’s The Brooklyn Way,” and check out the petition here. So far, 3,215 supporters have signed it; you could be 3,216.
