Miley Cyrus, French Montana Record “Ain’t Worried Bout Nothin” Remix
If you didn’t understand why Kendrick Lamar went ape on Big Sean’s new track, “Control,” maybe you will now.
On Monday night, a video appeared online of former Disney star Miley Cyrus in the studio with New York rapper French Montana. The two recorded a remix to Montana’s hit song, “Ain’t Worried Bout Nothin.” On the track, Miley sings about popping molly and being “turnt up.”
Since making a series of twerk videos, Miley has been welcomed into the hip-hop world with open arms. She’s appeared on stage at a Juicy J concert where she twerked on stage; Nicki Minaj, Big Sean and Ludacris are working on her new album; even Jay Z even mentioned her on a new track titled, “Somewhereinamerica.”
One person not impressed with Miley’s crossover is Kendrick Lamar. In addition to firing shots at Drake, Wale and other rappers, the Compton emcee also threw a blow at Miley and Lindsay Lohan. Listen below.
