Chris Brown Retiring From Music?

Published

on

Is Chris Brown’s latest album X the last we’ll hear from the singer? Brown took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce plans to retire from music.

“Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album,” the troubled singer wrote. “Being famous is amazing when it’s for your music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool and over it!”

Brown fame turned to infamy after he assaulted his then girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. Despite working hard to repair his public image, Brown has had several outbursts that have led to continued criticism over the incident.

On Monday, Brown turned himself into a California jail where he spent 45-minutes behind bars as part of the hit-and-run case currently against him.
