50 Cent Pleads Not Guilty To Domestic Violence Charges + Forced To Turn In His Guns
50 Cent pled not guilty to domestic violence charges on Monday morning after allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend and alleged baby mama, Daphne Joy.
HipHollywood spoke with 50’s lawyer Scott Leemon, who told us that a protective order was issued until the next court date. “It was a standard protective order, and we will appear back in court September 4,” Leemon told us.
According to the order, the rapper is to stay at least 100 yards away from Daphne at all times, and is prohibited from contacting her. The judge also asked the 38-year-old to turn in all firearms to the court.
If found guilty the rapper can face up to five years in prison and $46,000 in fines.
In June, Curtis Jackson, the rapper’s legal name, allegedly attacked Daphne and destroyed her Toluca Lake condo. Joy allegedly locked herself in her bedroom during the time of the alleged altercation, and that’s when the rapper busted the door open, and kicked her.
