FIRST LOOK! TLC Biopic Trailer + New Album

It’s finally here…your first look at “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story”.

The VH1 Original movie, which stars Keke Palmer as Chilli, Lil Mama as the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Drew Sidora as T-Boz, premieres Monday, October 21st. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in our comment section!

But, before the biopic even airs you can take a listen to new music from TLC. The group announced they will drop a new album with NEW MUSIC on October 15th! According to the press release, “The yet-to-be-titled collection will feature the group’s most beloved and biggest singles, plus four brand-new songs, including “Meant To Be,” which was written by Ne-Yo and will be used during the closing credits of the upcoming VH1 Original Movie, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. Another song, “Posh Life,” was produced and co-written by Grammy Award-winner Dallas Austin (who co-produced TLC’s CrazySexyCool and FanMail) and Lady Gaga.”

T-Boz and Chilli plan to reunite at this years Mixtape Festival on July 27th. It has been announced that Lil Mama, who will be featured on the new TLC album, will also hit the stage with them and perform.

“Lisa Lopes was a one-of-kind performer who cannot be replaced,” says Lil Mama. “I am grateful to Chilli and T-Boz for the confidence they had in me to portray her in the film and to invite me to perform and record with them and pay tribute to her incredible talent.”

There’s Friday, Next Friday, Friday After Next … and now maybe Last Friday?

Fans have been begging Ice Cube to bring back his uber popular Friday franchise for years. And now that his look-a-like son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., is killing the thespian game, just like his pops, a reboot seems all the more possible, right?

Just last week, comedian DC Young Fly posted a pic on Instagram teasing his fans about the possibility of himself and Jackson, Jr. filling the roles of Smokey (originally played by Chris Tucker) and Craig.

And of course fans went crazy. But when we chatted with O’Shea during the press day for his new action film “Den of Thieves”, he was a bit more reserved about the idea.
