You’ll Never Guess Where Kanye West Turned Up Last Night …

Published

on

With rumors of creeping on his baby’s mama hitting the tabloids and blogs back home, Kanye West made the wise decision to get out of dodge this week, popping up in Switzerland on Wednesday.

The rapper held an impromptu listening party late last night for his upcoming album, Yeezus, at the annual Art Basel Fair in Basel, Switzerland.

After introducing himself as a “celebrity boyfriend”, West revealed that he was attending the event to “have dinner with the Kravliks” and check out some high priced art … and no, we don’t have any flipping idea who the hell the Kravliks are.

West revealed that he was particularly interested in acquiring some fancy furniture while at the art fair. “I asked if they had any Rick Owens furniture in the show,” he said to the crowd. “Then I went to the gallery that had the Rick Owens furniture. And as I sat there, I thought, ‘Maybe it would be cool to play my album tonight, as it comes out on the 18th of June … I feel almost like Steve Jobs giving one of those addresses right now”, he continued.

West eventually played a couple of songs from the album using his laptop, then did an a capella performance of “New Slaves”. Surprisingly, considering his larger than life ego, West thanked everyone who stopped by his get-together by shaking their hands one by one as they exited the venue.

Check out some footage from last night’s event below.

Drizzy has signed his first cousin Christopher “Royalty” Graham to OVO.

If you couldn’t tell from the last name, the Memphis-bred rapper is actually blood-related. His father and Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, are brothers, and it’s safe to say music definitely runs through their genes.

We caught up with the new signee, who now just goes by the stage name Chris Graham, at the 2017 American Music Award’s about his upcoming project, who’s a better singer him or Drake, and the best advice his big cousin has given him.
