Chad Johnson’s Time Behind Bars May Be Reduced
After being ordered to spend 30 days behind bars, Chad Johnson’s lawyer is asking a Broward County judge to reduce his client’s sentence.
HipHollywood spoke with Adam Swickle who told us that a hearing will take place on his client’s behalf Monday morning. “I will be asking the judge to modify the time served, and to terminate any [additional] requirements,” Swickle told us.
During Johnson’s probation violation hearing earlier this week, the former NFL star slapped Swickle’s behind when the judge revealed that he would not have to serve jail time for a probation violation. The judge took offense to the butt slap and changed her tune, sentencing the former Dancing with the Stars contestant to a month in the slammer.
Johnson will remain in custody until Monday’s hearing. When asked how his client was currently doing behind bars, Swickle declined comment.
