Rihanna Fires Back After Being Called “Poisonous Pop Princess”

Published

on

Rihanna’s been called many things throughout her career, but a new attack has her furious.

In a recent article, Daily Mail writer Liz Jones caught RiRi’s attention with this shocking headline: “Pop’s Poisonous Princess: Glorying in Drugs, Guns and Sleaze. Rihanna’s Toxic Role Model for her Army of Young Fans.”

Based on the lengthy headline alone, one can tell the article isn’t exactly the nicest piece on Rihanna, and the pop-star quickly turned to her Instagram to defend herself.

Posting an unflattering picture of Liz Jones, and a long message for the caption, Rihanna attacked Jones on Tuesday morning, calling her article “a sad sloppy menopausal mess!!!” She also says that the term ‘Role Model’ is nothing she signed up for, and that her life and actions are far from perfect.

“I got my own f*cked up sh*t to work on, I’ll never portray that as perfect, but for right now it’s ME!! Call it what ya want!! Toxic was cute, Poisonous Pop Princess had a nice ring to it, just a lil wordy!”

In the article, Jones explains how the “Poisonous Pop Princess” has taken things too far with her posts on social media, and is setting a horrible example for her young, innocent fans. She then goes on to bash Rihannas entire look and persona.

“I wish she’d stop infecting our High Streets with her gun tattoos, her false nails and fake hair, her bogus bad-ass shenanigans that try to portray her as ‘real’, as ‘street’, as her own person, as strong and single-minded.”

Jones ends her article claiming Rihanna should “come with a government health warning.”

Rihanna fired back at those claims too, adding:

“LOL!!!! My money got a bad habit of pissing people off!! If you sincerely wanna help little girls more than their own parents do, here’s a toxic tip: don’t be amateur with your articles, you sound bitter! What’s all this about hair and nails and costumes and tattoos?? ….That s— ain’t clever!!! That s— ain’t journalism! That’s a sad sloppy menopausal mess!!!” she wrote to her nearly 8 million followers.”

While it’s true that over the past few weeks the singer has posted multiple images on her instagram showing her smoking marijuana and posing provocatively, this isn’t anything new to any of her fans. Rihanna is known to push the limits and her most recent is sure to upset Jones even more.

Is Trey Songz Completely Out Of Control?!

Published

on

Trey Songz used to be a singer known for sexually suggestive lyrics and his panache for saying “yuuuup.” Now, he may be known more as an R&B singer with a possible rage problem…

Trigga Trey has been accused of smacking a girl in the face with her own phone and now that accuser is suing for $50,000. The unidentified woman says that while at Philadelphia’s Vanity Grand Cabaret strip club she sought to get a snapshot with the singer, but he didn’t oblige. Instead, according to the woman, he pushed her phone back into her face and caused her glasses to break.

If true, this isn’t Trey’s first time getting way too aggressive for no d@mn reason. Just last year he became so upset over authorities ending his show in Detroit that he threw microphones and speakers from the stage. Unfortunately, he also injured a police officer in the process. In August, he reached a plea deal in that case and got his felony assault charge reduced to just two counts of disturbing the peace.

So, back to the fan who just wanted a photo. It looks like she’s only seeking coin and not criminal charges. And in Songz’s defense he does take pictures with some fans (see below), so maybe it was just the way she asked.
