Paula Deen: I Beg For Your Forgiveness
Paula Deen is trying to make right after admitting during a deposition to using the n-word in the past. In an odd video posted on YouTube Friday morning, Deen begs for the public to forgive her, and says she hopes to learn from her mistake. What makes the video odd though, is that the apology is edited … as if Deen was reading a script and taking a break between lines.
“I want to apologize to everybody for the wrong that I’ve done. I want to learn and grow from this. Inappropriate and hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable,” the apologetic chef shares in part of the 30-second clip.
“I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way, but I beg you, my children, my team, my fans, my partners … I beg for your forgiveness,” she continues.
