Did Lil Wayne Really Trample The American Flag?

Published

on

TMZ is accusing Lil Wayne of trampling the American flag over the weekend during a music video shoot for his new single, “God Bless Amerika.”

Video recorded on set shows the New Orleans native rapping in front of an American flag which falls to the ground behind him, revealing a large group of people gathered in the background. The rapper continues rapping with the flag on the ground beneath him, but to call it trampling would be a gross case of hyperbole in our opinion.

Check out the video below and tell us what you think? Did Weezy really trample on the American flag?

  1. End Wage Slavery

Why should I care? One out of every four American kids go to bed hungry at night in the “richest country in the world”. There are more Americans in prison than anywhere else on the planet as this country has 25% of the world’s prisoners.

It also has the industrialized world’s worst health care system, worst educational system, total laughingstock of a judicial system, basically NO worker rights and a government that for the last decade has been able to tap your phone without a warrant, intercept your e-mail, intercept your snail mail, read it then tape the envelope shut and send it on its way, demand your medical records without a warrant, demand to know what library books you check out then bar the librarian from ever telling you in the name of “national security”, restricts protesters to tiny “free speech zones” far removed from the object of their demonstration and can kidnap you in the middle of the night, whisk you away to some C.I.A. dungeon to be tortured, er, sorry, “robustly interrogated” to death or left to rot in some dog kennel in Gitmo in 110-degree heat because some bureaucrat decided on a whim that you’re an “enemy combatant” or a “material witness”. Yet the average American is so brainwashed you can’t go down the street without seeing American flags flying on everything from a sex toy shop to a bank to a garbage dump. Enough already. I’d like to be able to go five miles without everything looking like a Nuremburg rally but I guess that’s too much to ask.

With all the problems this country has and with all the very valid reasons for people to despise it you’re getting all wound up over someone trampling that gaudy rag? Worry about your homeless, worry about your starving kids, worry about your unemployed college grads, worry about the fact that America because of its belligerent foreign policy has become the most hated country in the world. Worry about the fact that someone can work their guts out forty hours a week for minimum wage and still not be able to support themselves because we have a government that is nothing but a hand puppet of the billionaire ruling elite who want to keep the minimum wage so low that nobody can afford to live off it because it means more profit for them. In other words worry about the real issues that MEAN something, not the useless crap that doesn’t amount to anything like someone trampling on a piece of cloth that has never done anything positive for me or you. Patriotism is for little children and adults who have the minds of children.

There’s a new member to the OVO Sound family. Drake’s Toronto-based label is expanding it’s roster, and this time the new addition is actually family.

Drizzy has signed his first cousin Christopher “Royalty” Graham to OVO.

If you couldn’t tell from the last name, the Memphis-bred rapper is actually blood-related. His father and Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, are brothers, and it’s safe to say music definitely runs through their genes.

We caught up with the new signee, who now just goes by the stage name Chris Graham, at the 2017 American Music Award’s about his upcoming project, who’s a better singer him or Drake, and the best advice his big cousin has given him.
