Adam “Pacman” Jones Pleads Not Guilty To Hitting Woman In The Face
Cincinnati Bengals star Adam “Pacman” Jones pled not guilty in an Ohio courtroom on Tuesday morning after being charged with simple assault. Jones is accused of striking a woman in the head during an altercation outside a Cincinnati bar on June 5th.
According to the police report obtained by HipHollywood, the cornerback struck a woman in the head after she threw beer on him. The blow left the victim with a minor injury, and get this … the entire thing was captured on video.
The Cincinnatti Police Department issued a warrant for the 29 year-old, who turned himself in on MOnday. He was later released on his own recognizance and shortly after took to Twitter to explain the situation…
“@REALPACMAN24 Just got arrested for protecting myself, I will not let this break me or change what I have worked so hard for.”
The public relations director of the Cincinnati Bengals told HH, “The only thing we have to offer is that the team is standing by our policy that we don’t believe its appropriate to comment on a legal matter that’s unresolved.”
