Nicki Minaj Slams ‘I’m Out’ Rumors: Song Is Not About Rihanna

After the release of Ciara and Nicki Minaj’s sexy new hit, “I’m Out,” featured on Ciara’s self titled album, rumors began to swirl that the ladies anthem was meant to throw shade at Rihanna.

While Ciara chants the girl power anthem during the pumped up track, Nicki Minaj comes in with a very aggressive rap. “Eh Yo Cici, let me show you how to do a singing b*tch greasy,” Minaj raps. “You gon’ play me, on Instagram trying to shade me,” Nicki adds.

Those very lyrics led people to believe that the rapper was throwing shade not only at Rihanna, who recently had beef with Ciara, but also dissing Minaj’s former American Idol judge, Mariah Carey.

In response to BET’s 106th & Park’s tweet, “@nickiminaj sneak disses @rihanna on @ciara’s new single “I’m Out,” and more in #THEBUZZ,” Nicki quickly took to Twitter to slam the reports.

“Da&n fam, I wld expect a black channel to actually understand rap bars. Song is a male bashing song. FOH@106andpark @ciara @rihanna,” Minaj tweeted.

“I’m Out” is the first track on Ciara, out on July 5.
