Listen: Jay-Z Drops “100$ Bill”

Published

on

“100$ Bill”, Jay-Z’s track off the The Great Gatsby soundtrack, was released on Thursday.

The song features Jigga rapping about selling drugs, being rich and have political ties … so more or less … a typical Jay-Z song. In much the same way he pulled Denzel Washington’s vocals from American Gangster for his music on the soundtrack of the same name, Jay uses Leonardo Dicaprio’s voice on this tune. Dicaprio stars in the film, and collaborated with Mr. Carter on the soundtrack.

Hov executive produced the album that features music from his wife, Beyonce, as well as Andre 3000, will.i.am, The xx, Lana Del Rey and others.

And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
