Boston Celtics player Jordan Crawford is trying to quiet rumors that he dissed Carmelo Anthony’s wife during Wednesday night’s game against the New York Knicks. The two teams were involved in an on-court scuffle following the game, and in video posted online, you can see Crawford appear to mouth the words, “My boy f*cked your wife”, to Carmelo.

Crawford has since taken to Twitter to explain himself, writing:

“I would never talk trash about that man’s wife. I don’t [know] him … all I did was respond!!”

That didn’t stop the outspoken Mrs. Anthony from firing back at Crawford on Twitter, telling him:

“Try again. You on the bench for a reason.”

Ouch! But this isn’t the first time Carmelo has had to deal with trash talk involving his wife, Lala Vazquez. Earlier this year, Anthony and Celtics star Kevin Garnett got into it after Garnett allegedly told the forward that his wife tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios.
