Exclusive: Why Guys Are Scared Of Jhené Aiko

Published

on

Jhené Aiko made headlines last week after she went all Taylor Swift on dudes, dropping “Comfort Inn Ending”, a song discussing some of the men who have broken her heart.

“We were in love, but I was the only one / So I was the only lonely one,” she sings on the melancholic track.

HipHollywood caught up with Jhené inside her dressing room just minutes after she performed at this weekend’s UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival. That’s where we asked her what prompted her to release such a private track. “I’m tired of these guys that just think they can get away with stuff. And I’m like f*ck it! I’m going to say their names … and I didn’t even say all the names I could have said,” she joked.

Asked if any of the guys she sings about have hit her up since the tune dropped, the Def Jam artist blushed. “None of them have. I think they’re a little scared of me.”
