Chris Brown’s Neighbors: “We Want Your Monster Paintings Down Now”

It’s no secret that Chris Brown is an amazing artist, often times even putting his art skills to use for charity work. But Chris’ latest piece of artwork has caused some hefty backlash from his neighbors.

Brown recently spray painted the side of his Hollywood Hills home with colorful, sharp tooth goblins and monsters, but neighbors are calling the art “frightening” and an “eye sore.”

HipHollywood spoke with Patti Negri, president of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association, who told us that she has been bombarded with resident complaints and concerns. “Neighbors see this as the latest in “unneighborly behavior” by Chris and his entourage,” Negri explained.

“Children are frightened of the monster paintings, adults are angered and frightened of the whole vibe this situation has created. This has always been a quiet, peaceful, family oriented neighborhood and we are not used to the speeding fast cars flying through the small windy streets, the wild parties and bad, entitled attitude … we only ask him for a little neighborly consideration and respect, and tone it all down a bit,” Patti added.

The singer was cited with $376 for unpermitted and excessive signage, and was ordered to take the paintings down within 30 days. If Brown fails to follow orders, he could face double the fines.
