Hit the Floor is VH1’s new scripted series, a show based around the Los Angeles Devil Girls, the premiere dance team in all of professional basketball.

HipHollywood joined the cast and crew on set to talk about the highly anticipated show starring Charlotte Ross, Taylour Paige, Logan Browning, Katherine Bailess and Jonathan McDaniel.

“This is a warm, heart felt show with dance … people are going to love the characters, and fall in love with every single character,” Bailess shared.

The lovely and talented Kimberly Elise also stars on the show, playing the mother of Paige’s character. Taylour shared with HH how thrilled she was to be able to work alongside a veteran like Elise.

“She is so professional, takes direction so well … Someone I’ve admired way before she even knew that I existed, I would never in a million years think she’d be playing my mom,” Paige raved.

As for the dancing, be ready for hot, sexy and fierce. “The dancing is in my opinion is beyond hot,” Ross shared. “There’s nothing G rated … it’s got a real edge. One of the dances someone said looks like 15 Beyonce’s up there,” Charlotte added.

Hit The Floor premieres May 27 at 9 P.M. on VH1.

I was laughing at the promo because it was during a SNL rerun and I thought it was one of their fake funny commercials. Then I realized it was for real, but still laughed like OMG, this is so bad, is the producer making fun of viewers or what?? WTF??
