Andre 3000’s Mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo, Dead At 62
HipHollywood is saddened to report the passing of Andre 3000’s mother, Sharon Benjamin-Hodo. The 62-year-old was found dead on Tuesday inside of her Atlanta home.
Tuesday was also Andre’s 38th birthday, making the loss even more tragic.
The singer’s mother was the founder of The Starlight Camp for underprivileged children, which she ran out of the New Morning Light Missionary Baptist Church in Conley, Georgia.
