Why Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Needed Emergency Surgery



HipHollywood has learned why Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was missing from the Los Angeles premiere of Pain & Gain on Monday night.

The action star was undergoing emergency surgery after tearing his abdomen and abductor muscles during a wrestling match earlier this month. The 40-year-old WWE superstar announced the news on his Twitter page over the weekend, writing:

“Saw my doctor who had to push my intestines back through the tear in my abdomen. Kinda romantic. Surgery is next week. #BringItOn.”

On Tuesday, The Rock updated fans on his status, saying that the surgery had gone well. He also shared this picture of himself recovering in the hospital with his followers.

“Pray for My Family and please ask for TRUE FACTS AND JUSTICE,” she begged of her fans. “This Country is Tainted PERIOD.”

Watkins concluded by suggesting it “Be MANDATORY THAT EVERY COP WEARS A BODY CAM That Way No He Said She Said Bull & LIES CAN HAPPEN.”

Stories about law enforcement taking down mentally ill people have become too common. In July, an officer in Brooklyn fatally fired five shots at Dwayne Jeune, a 32 man with a history mental illness.
