Keyshia Cole Responds To The-Dream’s Diss

Published

Keyshia Cole has taken to Twitter to let the world know she doesn’t care if she ever collaborates again with producer, The-Dream. The tweet was posted after the popular R&B producer revealed during a recent radio interview that he wouldn’t work with Keyshia right now because of comments she made about Beyonce, a person The-Dream considers family.

Asked if he would work with Keyshia, the super producer responded, “Right now, because of what’s happened, I can’t. I think she would respect why I can’t. That’s my family.”

That revelation didn’t seem to bother Keyshia as she took to Twitter immediately after to let her fans know doesn’t need The-Dream’s help to sell records.

“Dream not writing any songs for me is fine … I’m on my sixth album … He’s only wrote one song on one of my albums, which I did love. God Bless.”

That song is titled, “Hey Sexy”, and is featured on Cole’s most recent album.

The R&B singer has recently come under fire for speaking candidly – or recklessly depending on who you ask – on Twitter. HipHollywood sat down with Lil Mo this week who had this to say about Cole’s tweeting.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
