Kanye West’s New Album Described As “Dark”

Published

on

Kanye West has reportedly completed his sixth studio album, and “dark” is the word being used to describe it.

New York radio personality DJ Paul Rosenberg said that Mr. West recently debuted some of his new music at a private listening event at Def Jam Records. “Everyone at the label that listened to the album loved it. I’ve heard it’s dark, but really good,” Rosenberg shared.

Little is know about the project, but French duo Daft Punk have revealed that they’ve worked on at least two songs. “It was very raw: he was rapping – kind of screaming primally, actually,” Thomas Bangalter told Rolling Stone, with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo adding, “Kanye doesn’t give a fuck.”

2 Chainz also spoke to the Huffington Post about the untitled sixth studio album by the Chicago rapper. “You know I’m not going to tell you anything about that crazy ass boy,” 2 Chainz said. “I know he got some hot sh-t and I can’t wait. It’s just time. Our conversations are always about making music better, about challenging each other. Just know that Mr. West has some dope sh-t on the way.”

No word on when this new material is dropping, but you should expect to hear some of it when Kanye performs on the season finale of SNL next month.

Clearly, it was “God’s Plan” for Drizzy to take his entire budget for his music video and spend it on various residents and workers in Florida’s hot spot city. That’s right almost a million bucks — $996,631.90 to be exact — was slotted for Drake to shoot the visuals for his latest hit but instead he used all the money to make a difference. And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
