Kanye West, Jay-Z Make Nice In Manhattan

Published

on

It looks like the shade Kanye West threw at Jay-Z during a rant in Europe earlier this year didn’t cause a rift between the two.

The Watch The Throne rappers were spotted on the streets of New York embracing on Monday evening in front of photographers and Jay’s driver who looked just as thrilled. Despite rumors of tension between the Mr. West and Hov, both men looked elated to see each other, which is what a true bromance is all about.

Just before meeting up, Kanye spent the afternoon shopping with his future baby’s mama, Kim Kardashian … but during that experience, the rapper didn’t look as happy; in fact, he looked really unhappy.

Back in February, West infamously rapped during a freestyle that he wasn’t a fan of Jay’s “Suit & Tie” collaboration with Justin Timberlake. This had some bloggers speculating that the two were on the outs. “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f***ing with that ‘Suit & Tie,” West confessed during the emotional rant. We guess these pictures make it clear those no hard feelings between the men.

Clearly, it was “God’s Plan” for Drizzy to take his entire budget for his music video and spend it on various residents and workers in Florida’s hot spot city. That’s right almost a million bucks — $996,631.90 to be exact — was slotted for Drake to shoot the visuals for his latest hit but instead he used all the money to make a difference. And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
