Chris Brown’s Dad: I Didn’t Want Chris And Rihanna Back Together

When it comes to Chris Brown and Rihanna’s on-again off-again relationship, Brown’s dad thinks the couple is better off on their own.

In a recent interview with the New York Daily News, Clinton Brown, Chris’ father, shared his opinion on the couple’s toxic relationship. “I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together … You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical,” Clinton shared.

The “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer’s father also explained that he fears Brown and RiRi’s courtship could end in tragedy. “I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse — I mean I could go on and on,” Clinton added.

Mr. Brown did admit though that he could see why his son is attracted to the pop diva. ““She’s beautiful, she’s exotic, she’s successful,” Clinton said.

Brandy, Sonja Norwood Shut Down Princess Love Baby Shower Rumors: This Is Why We Didn’t Go!

Ray J’s sister, Brandy, and their mother, Sonja Norwood, are shutting down chatter that the family is beefing with Ray’s soon to be baby’s mother, Princess Love.

On Tuesday, rumors hit the web that Brandy and Sonja were absent from Princess’ baby shower over the weekend because they were at odds. TMZ reported that there was some “bad blood”, so Brandy and Sonja opted out of going.

Per the report, the Norwoods got into a verbal altercation with Love while at her gender reveal party just days prior. But it turns out, that could not have been further from the truth.

Brandy and Sonja were quick to shut down the gossip — Sonja first took to Instagram to confirm that her famous daughter was in fact performing in Virginia the day of the shower. “@4everbrandy Hampton VA on day of baby shower. Bran, yes,” she wrote.

The singer then followed up with a message that read: “Congrats to my brother and sister on their baby and baby shower. I’ve very excited to be an Auntie. So sorry I missed this moment with the both of you. I had a show in Hampton Virgina on the same day but I’m so glad I was able to push my flight back for the gender reveal the day before.”

She then confirmed that there is “nothing here but love and no matter what anyone says we are family and we will always be.”

The post has since been removed from Brandy’s page, so we are curious: Was this a quick fix to silence the gossip?
