[Watch] Lil Wayne Speaks Out: “I’m More Than Good”

Published

Lil Wayne has finally come forward to address last week’s highly-publicized health scare…sort of.

In a video submitted to TMZ, Tunechi reassured his fans that he was back on deck.  Although he didn’t address what sent him to the hospital in the first place, he thanked his fans for their support, saying:

“I just want to thank you to all y’all for y’all prayers and y’all concerns and all that.  I swear to god I felt that love when I was laying in that muthaf—-n’ hospital bed.  But I want all y’all to know that I’m good – a ni–a more than good.”

Wayne went to elaborate on projects he has coming up in the immediate future, including his next album: I Am Not A Human Being II, which is still on schedule to drop on March 26.  He also revealed that he’s still going on his America’s Most Wanted tour this July, and brought out “one of [his] closest friends in the game,” T.I., to “elaborate” on the tour details.  (Not mentioned was the music video for his new single with 2 Chainz, “R.A.F.,” which premieres on MTV today.)

For all appearances, Weezy, who gave the self-recorded testimonial while sucking on a lollipop, seemed to be in the best of health.  Although we’re definitely glad to see it, Birdman revealed that doctors ordered Wayne to “rest” as part of his recovery.  We hope that Weezy takes the advice and doesn’t work himself right back into the hospital!

Drizzy has signed his first cousin Christopher “Royalty” Graham to OVO.

If you couldn’t tell from the last name, the Memphis-bred rapper is actually blood-related. His father and Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, are brothers, and it’s safe to say music definitely runs through their genes.

We caught up with the new signee, who now just goes by the stage name Chris Graham, at the 2017 American Music Award’s about his upcoming project, who’s a better singer him or Drake, and the best advice his big cousin has given him.
