Justin Timberlake Releases New Music Video For “Mirrors”

Published

on

Fresh on the heels of the release of his new album The 20/20 Experience, Justin Timberlake has dropped new visuals to the next single off the album, “Mirrors.”

On a completely different vein from his “Suit & Tie” video, “Mirrors” follows the relationship of an older couple through the decades – as if they were seeing their past selves in a mirror.  There is a sweet twist to this sentimental video – it is about Timberlake’s own grandparents, who had been married for 53 years. (Timberlake opens the video with a dedication to them – William and Sadie Bomar.  His grandfather William passed away last year.)

Watch the video below and let us know what you think of it:

Rumor also has it that Timberlake is in the running to play Daddy Warbucks alongside Quvenzhané Wallis’ Annie in the new “Annie” movie remake.  If this is true, then Timberlake and Jay Z will be teaming up once again, as Jay is the film’s executive producer.  Is this a match made in heaven?  Sound off below!

That video is heart-warming. It’s not often you see a sweet old married couple depicted in a music video.

As for Timberlake as Daddy Warbucks, I don’t see it. I enjoy his acting, but you should really have a Warbucks that’s at least middle-aged.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
