ICYMI: Gucci Mane Wanted For Assault

Gucci Mane is a wanted mane for allegedly assaulting a fan who got too close. According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, police issued a warrant for the Gucci’s arrest over the weekend after a fan reported that the rapper hit him over the head with a champagne bottle!

The incident took place at Atlanta night club, Harlem Nights Ultra Lounge. That’s where the fan, an Army veteran named Greg Lyons, claims to have approached Gucci for an autograph. “I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle.  And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face,” Lyons explained.

The attack left a “deep gash” on Lyons’ head, and Lyons revealed that he currently is suffering from a concussion. “That is dangerous because if there was to be any other fan trying to approach him, ain’t no telling what else he might do to them.  He could have possibly killed me.  I just hope and pray that I recover pretty well because I still want to serve my military career.”

The Atlanta Police Department has confirmed they have an active warrant out for Gucci (real name Radric Davis) for aggravated assault.  Lt. Jeff Cantin seemed pretty confident that Gucci would turn himself in, saying, “I’m sure after he sees this … he’ll want to reach out and contact us.”

That may have been wishful thinking.  As of yet, Gucci has neither commented on the incident, nor turned himself in to authorities.

The double-disc album, 32-track, gospel album is the first of its kind from Snoop, and while not everyone is receptive, the Doggfather knows he’s fulfilling his purpose. “I stepped in the world (of gospel) to say, hold on, let me take my light … and put it on this gospel gang with some of the most extraordinary singers you’ve ever heard in your life,” Snoop stated.

And that he did!
