Fantasia Covers Sister 2 Sister: You Can’t Play With People’s Hearts

Published

on

Fantasia finally got to use her new look on a magazine cover. The R&B singer publicly feuded with JET magazine after they used a 10-year-old photo of her on their March cover, but Sister 2 Sister avoided that kind of drama by placing a more recent image of the diva on their April cover.

In the issue, Fantasia opens up about a lot of things, including her on-again off-again partner, Antwaun Cook. “Me and Antwaun, as of now, we are not together. I think it’s the best thing for us all,” she tells the magazine.

“We had to learn how to become friends again. There was so much stuff that came out. We were all hurt along the way. There’s trust issues. There’s just a lot of stuff that kinda got put in the mix. And I, at one point, I wanted to make everybody else happy. To love him, to make sure Zion was okay, to make sure everything—but I had to get to a place where I had to learn how to love Fantasia. I never did that … And if I don’t love myself, then I can’t be in a relationship.”

You can read more about Fantasia in the new issue of Sister2Sister. Her latest album, Side Effects Of You, drops in April.

That’s right almost a million bucks — $996,631.90 to be exact — was slotted for Drake to shoot the visuals for his latest hit but instead he used all the money to make a difference. And in doing so, he made us cry … multiple times. Just watch the video below.

In a statement the self-professed “6god” said this video was “the most important thing” he’s ever done. We’d agree.
