They say time heals all wounds, so has Gloria Govan forgiven her sister Laura for making claims that she slept with her ex, Gilbert Arenas? HipHollywood caught up with Gloria at the HollyRod Foundation’s 18th Annual Design Care Gala and found out if she and her sister are speaking, and how she feels about Arenas, a.k.a. “No Chill Gil” (as he’s known on social media).

“My sister and I are family. Honestly, you don’t get to choose your family, by any means,” she said with a smile. “I love my sister to death. We will always be sisters. But I think that’s as far as it goes, unfortunately.”

Govan, who has twin boys with NBA player Matt Barnes, didn’t elaborate on if the two have actually spoke since Laura insinuated to “Hollywood Unlocked” that Gloria slept with Arenas, but she did say she’s hopeful that their relationship will get better.

“I know eventually we will get there, but we’re family, so we love each other one day and hate each other the next. It’s all good. At the end of the day, I still got her back whenever she needs it.”

So, did she come to her defense when she was feuding with Arenas? Glo told us she actually stayed out of that one. “I’ve learned to just moonwalk my way out of everyone else’s drama. I just stay out of it,” she laughed.

Govan did, however, say she thinks Arenas is harmless and finds his memes, posts and videos about her sister on Instagram pretty hilarious.

If you recall, Arenas aired out the families’ dirty laundry on social media, claiming that Laura was not on good terms with any of her siblings, and slammed her for making claims that he gave her an STD and slept with Laura.

Laura, also took to social media to refute claims that she slept with Arenas. Arenas has since filed a defamation lawsuit against the former BBW LA star, and a judge ruled in his favor.

‘Annihilation’s’ Leading Ladies Use Intense Military Training As Bonding Experience

Annihilation is one hell of a visually stunning sci-fi film with five female leads on an expedition to uncover the mysterious phenomenon that is expanding across the American coastline.

For Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Gina Rodriguez, the film, which also lends a voice to what is being called the year of the woman, dressing in head to toe military gear and going through tactical training was a bonding experience.

“”t was really fun. It’s weird to say that. But to have all these women in military training together, where we had to do these exercises … it was a great bonding experience with each other.” Portman told us.

And although the women had the opportunity to use real guns, firearms is not something the ladies of Hollywood advocate. “I’m anti gun to be honest,” Rodriguez said. “I say no guns. There’s no reason for people to have guns especially when you have these,” she said while holding up her firsts.

This past week Gina has been very vocal via social media about gun legislation and the idea behind policy and change following the tragic high school massacre an Parkland, Florida.
Annihilation, also starring Oscar Isaac, hits theaters on February 23.
