Paula Patton Doesn’t Care About Robin Thicke’s “Paula” Album

Published

on

Robin Thicke is still trying to win back Paula Patton, and one way he’s hoping to do that is by releasing a depressing a music video begging her to give him another chance. The video for “Get Her Back”, released this morning, features the singer whining singing into the camera while text messages pop-up on screen. Some of those messages include these gems:

“You drink too much.”

“You ruined everything.”

“How could you do that to me?”

“Can I come see you?”

“I wrote a whole album about you,” to which a reply (presumably from Paula) reads, “I don’t care.”

The video also features a bevy of female hands caressing Thicke’s chest, which we’re sure is just the sort of thing Paula will enjoy watching. Where the hell is Robin’s team in all of this? One has to wonder when they’ll step and try to salvage some of this guy’s dignity. Regardless, what do you think of Robin’s efforts?

“Get Her Back” is one of 14 tracks featured on Paula, which drops July 1.

It isn’t, If you watch the video there’s a point where the text messages – supposedly between Patton and Thicke read:
“I wrote a whole album about you” – Thicke
      “I don’t care” – Patton
it appears at 1:30….I really wonder who’d buy this shit….I mean I burst out laughing when I saw that text thing

With a video like that, he’s not even serious about getting his wife back. He just want to capitalize on his situation and gain some public sympathy.

I think he’s doing it wrong. He shouldn’t be doing this publicly. Behind doors take everyone out of your business is the best thing. Like he could sing her the first song he ever sang to her,

Here is a man who makes a music video with naked women rubbing on him, drowning… And dedicates it to his ex.
    Run.

He shouldn’t do this because he should keep to himself show his true feelings about show he really wants to get her back instead of just showing the media

The music video was ridiculous, all he is doing is victimizing himself and showing he still doesn’t know how to take no as an answer.

“he still doesn’t know how to take no as an answer”
      Exactly. See “Blurred Lines.”

Lotsa drownings, skulls and blood in this romance video. The weird “This is just the beginning” text at the end, you know-the one following the underwater blood explosion, it roundly completes the slasher-fic aesthetic.

I’m surprised Freddy Kruger didn’t make a cameo, maybe Robin scared him off.

Nothing says, “I want you back, baby,” like featuring a lookalike actress who happens to be being drowned on camera. This guy’s a real whiner– I mean winner.

Netflix definitely made sure the world premiere for their new flick Bright was lit!

Before the films stars including Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Edgar Ramierez and Noomi Rapace hit the black carpet, Migos surprised fans with a pop-up performance.

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
