Why Trey Songz And August Alsina Are Beefing

Published

Today in celebrity beefs that will have zero impact on your day, we have Trey Songz and August Alsina who are at odds. August explained the genesis of the beef in an interview with Rap-Up.com:

“I don’t really f*ck with Trey right now. We don’t get along right now. We ain’t on the same page. He did some other sh*t and we just don’t rock.”

Pressed on what that “other sh*t” was, Alsina explained, “We were supposed to have a show together and it just went left ’cause I can’t deal with n*ggas’ egos and attitudes ’cause I’m just a real n*gga comin’ through and I’m rockin’.”

“Once n*ggas go to talkin’ a certain type of way, that sh*t ain’t gon’ fly with me and that’s all that was and I just had to not do the show ’cause I can’t stand on side of a n*gga if I really got something that I feel in my heart. It just ain’t gon’ work, so I just had to dip and we didn’t do it, but it is what it is.”

Trey and Chris Brown are currently featured on the remix for Alsina’s hit single, “I Luv This Sh*t.”

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
