Did Tameka Raymond Already Quit The New Series, ‘Atlanta Exes?’

The rumor mill is buzzing with reports that Tameka Raymond has already quit the new VH1 series, Atlanta Exes.

According to Straight From The A, Usher’s ex-wife threw in the towel on the forthcoming show after just two weeks of taping. According to the gossip site, it all started because of former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star, DJ Traci Steele.

On February 22, Tameka held a flea market in Atlanta where she sold items from her former boutique, Estelle. The proceeds from the event went towards Kiles World Foundation, an organization in honor of her late son, Kile Glover. As cameras rolled, Steele reportedly arrived to the event and got into a verbal altercation with Raymond.

Straight From the A is reporting that the DJ approached Usher’s ex and started yelling and asking why she didn’t like Hart. Apparently, Traci, who is close friends with Torrei and Raymond thought she can make the two become friends … But it didn’t exactly end that way. Temeka was reportedly upset that Traci would approach her in that manner at an event in honor of her late son.

Although it has not been confirmed that Raymond walked away from the show, Steele took to Twitter over the weekend and appeared to suggest that Raymond quit. In a post that has since been deleted, the star wrote:

“Why are they stalking my page??? You always going to be mad at what you see. @vh1 I’m making cast members quit. #beast #everybodyaintcutoutforthis #entertainment.”

HipHollywood first reported that Torrei was joining Ne-Yo’s ex, Monyetta Shaw, Cee-Lo’s ex, Christina Johnson and Ray Buchanan’s ex, Sheree Buchanan for the forthcoming show.

“I just feel like it’s a way to see who I am,” Hart told us in October 2013. “In the past I’ve been put out in the press, people have this assumption about me, and it’s a way for people to really get to see who I am,” she told us. “I want to do the show. I think it’s a great opportunity. It’s a great platform, and I’m excited about it.”

Hart added, “And the women that are on the cast, I really love the women. I think we can empower women, and they can see that reality TV can be positive, it’s not just fighting and negativity.” (Clearly they crew is off to a rocky start.)

Calls to VH1 were not returned.
