Happy Birthday … Blue Ivy Turns 2!

It’s amazing how fast time flies.

Today, January 7, little Blue Ivy turned 2-years-old. Beyonce posted a birthday message on her Tumblr page, writing: “Happy Birthday Miss Carter … Happy 2nd birthday Blue!”

Habby Birthday

While it’s unsure what Blue, Papa J and Bey are doing for the toddler’s special day, we do know that it’s going to be more than incredible. The Carter family spent the New Year in Miami so we can’t help but think it might be a sunny special day for baby Blue. Last year, for the misses’ first birthday, the family reportedly enjoyed a nice tropical vacation in the Bahamas.

In Beyonce’s fourth YouTube mini-documentary, “Liberation,” the singer opens up about her new body and losing the baby weight after giving birth to her 2-year-old daughter.

“I was very aware of the fact that I was showing my body. I was 195 pounds when I gave birth. I lost 65 pounds. I worked crazily to get my body back. I wanted to show my body,” she said in the five minute video.

“I wanted to show that you can have a child and you can work hard and you can get your body back. I know that there’s so many women that feel the same thing after they give birth. You can have your child and you can still have fun and still be sexy and still have dreams and still live for yourself. I don’t have any shame about being sexual. I’m not embarrassed about it, and I don’t feel like I have to protect that side of me because I do believe that sexuality is a power we all have.”
