Robin Thicke On Paula Patton: We Have “The Most Dysfunctional, Functional Marriage”

Published

Robin Thicke is finally speaking out about that infamous picture of him grabbing a blonde girl’s behind at a VMA after-party.

“My only comment about the so-called scandalous photo would be that my wife and I are perfectly in love and very happily married,” Thicke tells Star magazine. Despite the controversy, the singer says he’s happy with his wife, Paula Patton, calling their partnership, “the greatest love of the century, and the most functional, dysfunctional marriage in Hollywood.”

No arguments there, especially if you believe what the blonde beauty had to say about meeting Robin and Paula. In an interview with Life & Style, Lana claimed that Paula was actually there when Robin grabbed her rear. “I don’t think he cared what she thought,” the 20-year-old told Life & Style magazine. “I was with him the whole night!”

Regardless, Robin and Paula seem to have a deep appreciation for one another. “As a relationship progresses, you fall in love again in so many deeper ways,” Robin added. “You realize that you need each other and you can’t live without each other.”

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
