In the midst of Lamar’s recent woes, the NBA veteran’s friends and teammates are wishing the best for the troubled star.

During Diddy’s Boardwalk Empire party on Friday, HipHollywood caught up NBA player, Matt Barnes, to get his reaction on Odom’s recent struggles.

“He is a very close friend of mine, and you know, going through a tuff time right now, family problems and his own problems,” Lamar’s former teammate explained. “I wish him nothing but the best and I’m sure he’ll land on top,” Barnes added.

Lamar reportedly checked himself into a rehabilitation facility last week, just days after being arrested for DUI. According to reports, Odom’s wife, TV beauty Khloe Kardashian, has worked tirelessly to get her husband the help he needs.

The reality star has been taking to Twitter to reveal some of her inner thoughts and feelings.

“I may never understand,” Khloe tweeted on Sunday night.

Earlier last week, Kardashian tweeted, “As much as I wish I were made of steel … I’m not.” She later added, “I’m pretty damn close to it though hehe.”

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
