Drake Set To Perform “Started From The Bottom” At MTV VMAs

Drake has officially been added to the list of performers for this weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards.

The Canadian rapper took to Twitter Wednesday morning to announce the news. “Excited to announce I’ll be performing at the 2013 @MTV VMA’s!!! #Brooklyn #OVO #Started #NeedAKawsTrophy,” Drake tweeted.

The rapper’s performance of “Started From The Bottom” will be the 26-year-old’s first time performing the track on live television. The video for Drake’s latest single is also up for two awards, including Best Direction and Best Hip Hop Video.

Also set to take the stage on Sunday (August 25), Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Bruno Mars, Robin Thicke, and Lady Gaga.
