Ciara Gets Served During Pride Performance

Published

on

R&B star Ciara got played epically on Saturday night during a performance at LA’s Pride Festival; the “Goodies” singer  was served a lawsuit in the middle of her set.

Video of the ordeal shows a young woman in the crowd handing Ciara some documents. Ciara takes them, but once she realizes what they are, throws them back into the crowd. A young woman can then be overheard telling a camera, “She got served.”

Ci is being sued by The Factory, a popular nightclub in West Hollywood. The nightclub’s management claims that Ciara agreed to perform at their venue on Friday, but backed out. Ciara’s camp claims they never agreed to perform on Friday night because of her Saturday night gig at Pride.

“Ciara’s commitment to perform at L.A. Gay Pride on Saturday night prevented her from making such a Friday night appearance,” a rep for Ciara reportedly told TMZ. “Despite being notified early last week that Ciara could not appear, The Factory continued to market and promote Ciara’s appearance. The reason for the continued marketing/promotion is unclear, as it is not known why The Factory would intend to continue to mislead the public, to cause damage to the L.A. Gay Pride festival and to attempt to portray Ciara in a negative light.”

Is Trey Songz Completely Out Of Control?!

Published

on

Trey Songz used to be a singer known for sexually suggestive lyrics and his panache for saying “yuuuup.” Now, he may be known more as an R&B singer with a possible rage problem…

Trigga Trey has been accused of smacking a girl in the face with her own phone and now that accuser is suing for $50,000. The unidentified woman says that while at Philadelphia’s Vanity Grand Cabaret strip club she sought to get a snapshot with the singer, but he didn’t oblige. Instead, according to the woman, he pushed her phone back into her face and caused her glasses to break.

If true, this isn’t Trey’s first time getting way too aggressive for no d@mn reason. Just last year he became so upset over authorities ending his show in Detroit that he threw microphones and speakers from the stage. Unfortunately, he also injured a police officer in the process. In August, he reached a plea deal in that case and got his felony assault charge reduced to just two counts of disturbing the peace.

So, back to the fan who just wanted a photo. It looks like she’s only seeking coin and not criminal charges. And in Songz’s defense he does take pictures with some fans (see below), so maybe it was just the way she asked.
