It looks like Rihanna could have some legal troubles on her hands. The “Umbrella” star is being investigated for allegedly tattooing three tattoo artists with umbrellas and the letter R. The incident reportedly went down in New York City earlier this week.

In New York City, only tattoo artists with a license are allowed to ink others.The punishment for the violation isn’t severe but the three misdemeanors could cost the singer $2,000 in fines. We’re sure Rihanna could take the financial blow without worrying too much, but the tattoo shop might also be in trouble. Sources say the tattoo shop could face fines too.

The NYC Health Department tells the media "Only licensed tattoo artists can administer tattoos in the city according to the City's Health Code. We are sending someone down to follow up on this."

Is Rihanna dating a NBA champion? After being spotted at several Los Angeles Lakers games, rumors began to swirl Rihanna was dating a Laker. TMZ hinted that Rihanna was seeing Lakers center Andrew Bynum.

Well, TMZ was right about one thing: Rihanna was dating a Laker, just not Andrew Bynum. A reliable source close to the Lakers tells HipHollywood.com that the Barbadian Beauty was seeing Jordan Farmar. 

According to the source, Rihanna was spotted in the Lakers, Orlando hotel during the NBA Finals with Farmar. The pair were "very comfortable" the source says. 

Rihanna has also been romantically linked to Canadian artist Drake recently although Drake has publicly denied the two were an item.
